Dr Hadleigh Clark

Dr Hadleigh Clark is excited to be joining the team at the Centre for Oral Medicine & Facial Pain. Originally from the South Island of New Zealand, Hadleigh has trained in science (physiology), dentistry (both University of Otago), medicine (University of Auckland) and oral medicine (University of Sydney). From 2017-2024, he was a full-time hospital Oral Medicine Consultant in Auckland, being Oral Medicine Clinical Lead for six and a half years. During this time, he developed particular expertise in oral mucosal and potentially malignant disease management, with subspecialty interests in immunologically-driven disorders and adverse events related to novel cancer immunotherapies.

Hadleigh is a keen interdisciplinarian, educationalist and sought-after speaker in his native New Zealand. He has presented lectures and seminars (>70) to dental, medical, allied health and public interest groups. A Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), Hadleigh is current lead examiner in the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology elective stream for the General Practice Fellowship (FRACDS) examination.
